She has been featured in two books: _Under The Radar: Starting Your Net Business without Venture Capital_, stuff (2001). and _Single Women Entrepreneurs_ (2010). She has been recognized for her “Outstanding Contributions of Technology” for the health education profession by the American Alliance for Health Education, the Health Education Directory and Jones & Bartlett Publishers (2002) and was the recipient of the Gold Star Award in recognition of her “Outstanding Contributions to the Field” from the National Association for Health and Fitness (2012).

She holds a Master’s degree in Wellness Management from Ball State University’s Fisher Institute for Wellness, is a Certified Social Media Strategist through Society3 Academy, Certified Wellness Practitioner through the National Wellness Institute, a Master Certified Health Education Specialist through National Commission for Health Education Credentialing and a Certified “Work@Health”(tm) instructor.
